Right now someone is going to die. It will either be me from this god damned neck infection, or the doctor for fucking it up for me. Let me explain further. Last Tuesday night: My neck was sore, and I couldn't sleep. Thursday: I was feverish, disoriented, and by then I had what looked like wry neck. Saturday: a friend of the family, who happens to be a nurse, came and looked at my neck- she suspected mumps. Then we went to the hospital- he suspected an infection in my parotid gland (large spit gland at the side of the face). Monday: Things started to look a little better. I've got a fever, I'm disorientated, and I have a swollen neck. But the oddest part are my new tentacle-esque appendages... not. But there is something weird going on. For those who didn't know, I lost my sense of smell after an operation in the first grade. Due to the theory of balanced senses, I gained an excellent sense of taste and touch. But today is different. My senses of touch and sound are lacking. Now here it is! The big finisher... I CAN SMELL EXCELLENTLY! Weird............ Aside from that, due to my swollen neck, I feel intense pain when I: turn my head, lift my head, chew, swallow, talk, and more... ugh.
